How it works

Both sides, start to finish

Carp Army Creators connects bait brands, tackle shops and fisheries with the anglers who film their fishing. It runs inside the Carp Army app, where the fishing is already logged, so nobody has to take anyone's word for anything.

For brands

Bait brands, tackle shops, fisheries. Work with carp anglers who have an audience, without the risk. You need a Carp Army business account, the same one that runs your shop or water on business.carp.army.

1
Post a brief

What you want and what you give. Product for content, cash, both, or a session on your water. Set the bars: region, must have fished your bait, PB, goes live. We show you who matches before you post. Free.

2
Creators apply

Matching creators are told in the app. Each applicant links to a media kit: every channel they post on with reach, their rates, when they're free, what they'll do, their record of delivering, and the fishing behind it.

3
Pick

Choose who you want. On a cash brief, picking funds the slot: the creator's fee plus a 10% service fee, taken by card and held by Carp Army. Product briefs cost nothing.

4
They deliver

The creator logs the capture naming your bait, posts the reel, and adds the links to where it went: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram. Done is checked against the posts in the app, not a screenshot.

5
Confirm

One tap. The creator is paid into their own Stripe account. The brief shows on their kit as a confirmed job. If they never deliver, you are refunded automatically.

Post a brief

For creators

Any Carp Army member, from a first-year vlogger to an established channel. No follower minimum, no fees to you. Once switched on, your normal login also opens business.carp.army for your kit, briefs and earnings.

1
Switch it on

Me › Creator in the app. Five questions: what you make, where you fish, your channels with follower counts, what you're open to, a one-line pitch. Then add your pitch assets: intro reel, best work, rate card, availability, specialisms, gear.

2
Your kit is live at once

Your channels, following, best work and rates are on it the day you switch on, at creators.carp.army/@you, with a story card you can share. Every catch you log afterwards fills it out further with captures, PB, waters and bait, which matters to some brands more than others. Verify a channel with a code in your bio and it gets a tick.

3
Apply, or pitch

Briefs that match you show in Discover › Creators. Apply in a tap. Or open a brand's profile and pitch them directly: "I'd fish this for you."

4
Deliver

Fish it, film it, post it where your audience is. Then tick the channels you posted on and paste the links, so the brand can go and look. If the brief asked for a particular bait, log the capture naming it too; otherwise the links are enough.

5
Get paid

When the brand confirms, your fee lands in your Stripe account. You keep 100% of it; the brand pays our fee on top. Every confirmed brief builds your reliability score, which brands filter by.

Payments run on Stripe. Creators are paid into their own Stripe account, set up once in the app. If a creator hasn't connected Stripe when a brand confirms, the money waits for them.

What counts as "delivered"?

A capture logged in Carp Army that names the bait the brief asked for, and/or a reel posted in the app, chosen by the creator when they mark it done. The brand sees both, plus any links to YouTube, TikTok or Instagram the creator adds. The brand then confirms.

Can a brand see the creator's real numbers?

Yes. Every channel with its follower count and a live link, labelled "declared" if the creator typed it, "fetched" if we pulled it, and a tick if they proved they own the channel. Alongside that, what they do on Carp Army: live sessions and average viewers, reels and plays, and their catches if they log them.

What if the creator doesn't deliver?

The brand can leave it to lapse. Fourteen days after the brief closes, any funded slot that hasn't been delivered is refunded to the brand automatically and the creator's reliability shows it.

Does Carp Army take a cut of product?

No. Product briefs are free both ways. Postage and product are arranged between brand and creator.

Can a creator work with brands outside Carp Army?

Of course. This is one route to work, not an exclusive one. Brands they've worked with elsewhere can be listed on the kit, marked as declared.

Who can post briefs?

Business accounts: shops, bait brands and fisheries, and Carp Army itself. Apply for a business account in the app if you don't have one.
